It’s a myth that everyone on-set gets along with each other. Celebrities are just like us – with strong opinions, emotions, attitude problems, and all! They’re honestly no different from you and that co-worker/classmate you really despise when it comes down to it. Some people just get along better than others, and some, whatever the reason, just don’t. Let’s look at the list and together applaud these co-stars for creating such a chemistry on-screen, that it shocked us to the very core to find out about these on-set fights!
1. Ryan Gosling & Rachel McAdams
Who would have guessed that “Notebook” stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams did not get along, especially with the on-screen chemistry? According to the director, Nick Cassavetes, the duo “hated each other.”
“It was a strange experience, making a love story and not getting along with your co-star in any way,” said Ryan Gosling in an interview for British newspaper The Guardian in 2007 and McAdams informed The Times in the U.K., “We weren’t throwing Ming vases at each other, so it wasn’t loathing, but our relationship was not what you saw on the screen.” Cut to two years later when the pair met again in New York City and, oddly, they became a couple – although they have since broken up.
